Nah, the canal trips were either overpriced or not at the right time, so I just ended up going to the Amsterdam History Museum, which was pretty interesting, the Rembrandt House and Madam Tussad's (quite entertaining and a little creepy).

I cannot wait to get to Sverige, I have been practising my Swedish in my spare hours for weeks now, but my conversational grasp of the language is still poor, as is my vocabulary, hehe. I am in Prague right now, it is pretty sweet, and cheap as chips.

Word, read something by Dagens Nyheter everyday and listen to SR. Or something like that.

Also, the Czech Republic is where Scandinavians go to buy beer cheaply. Just walk into a bar and yell "Hejsan, hur är det med er snåla killar?" (lol j/k :lol:)

So i just came home.

Jason was with his girlfriend visiting me for dinner and it was really cool to see him! tbh. i never thought that i will see anyone from the forums, while i registered some 4years ago ^^
we ate and afterwards we went out to the town to an irish pub - too bad it was too fulled up with ppl and pretty loud, but at least Jason had his austrian beer :)
afterwards we went a little bit around in the city (university, town hall, parliament, some museums) and tbqh. it was a pretty loooong walk. it was cold and even my feet hurt from walking now... i'm sorry jason ;-)

and yes, we made some photos and had a great time! (if Jason allows it, i will upload them next week)

some anecdotes:
- Riva is pronounced Ray-va (not Riva like i did >.<)
- Riva is taken from a book, and not (how you thought some days ago) by the coffee Riva - yes i know the thruth now, harhar; the coffee came after the book :p
- Jelle is pronounced Jel-la (not Cheel or Tschiell like i did)
- Aussies drink ocean water, excluding salt, magnesium and calcium
- Australia is the oldest "land/country/territorry" in the world and thats the reason why its so flat ^^

btw. i won't be online till sunday - i going to poland tomorrow (well today morning) and will be back online at sunday evening/night or monday.

Hehe, it is okay, Kacper, I am used to walking now. Though my face felt like someone had slapped it with an ice-cold fish for a few hours when I got back to the hostel. And that meal you made was bloody delicious. Very good indeed, even if it did not contain any meat :p (poor me, not a single bit of animal flesh for over 4 days now).

no one was injured, we just had bad luck; the spring-system of our car got broken in poland and we had to call the wrecking car and repair the car, which was pretty stupid; we had to pay for a rent-car and so on and with the vehicle-insurance and so on it was pretty expensive;
instead of talk to your family and relatives we just drove from one car-repairing-agency (?) to another - a lot of stress, etc.

this was a damn expensive trip for my parents... :upset:

whatever... i'm back in vienna again :)
