Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri is the best game I've ever played. Add Deus Ex, Civilization 4, Fallout, and X-Com: UFO Defense into the mix as well.

As far as console games, mostly SNES games like Super Metroid, Mario World, Zelda Link to the Past, etc.

dude ive played both of em, xenogears is awesome, but god of war has that epic feel, and the great original soundtrack, good gameplay and original story to boot. i like them both but id choose GOW over xenogears any day

Best games for me:
- Mmm, I actually can't think of really great games. I have all these titles in mind, but if I wrote them all down, I'd probably categorise as good games that I've played. All have their different pros and cons as well.

Ah fudge it, I'll just list whatever:

THPS 2 to 4. All very entertaining and fun. Great music
Half Life 2. Great environment, nice visuals.
GTA Vice City/SA. Vice City for the vibe, SA for the features and size.
Operation Flashpoint. For the adrenaline pumping missions.
Mario All Stars. For the cuteness of it all, the family friendliness and challenge.
Rollercoaster Tycoon 1/2. Fun, allows you to get creative. might install this again.
Sim City 3000. Complicated fun. I should actually figure this game out next time round.
Mario Kart 64. Very fun with friends.
Mortal Kombat 2-3. Cool characters, cheesy goriness.
The Last Express. Points for being different.

Probably the most artisticly styled game ever, it gorgeous to look at.

Still, after playing it through once, and then comparing it to original concepts, i really felt it was lacking.

you're not gonna hear an arguement here, they are really suspicious, overly almost. but it gave me some fun gameplay for the time i was running through the story.
