Yessssss.
Looks like it has potential. Hopefully it won't turn out like Land of the Dead did.

I saw a similar film called Zombie Diaries. It was the shittest thing I've seen in years. I absolutley hate ''documentary'' style horror films.

George A. Romero didn't make that one, though.

True. Which is my only hope for it.
Edit: Ol' George A. doesn't look at all like I would have expected. But then neither does Quentin Tarantino

That kinda looked dumb.

I didn't think land of the dead was bad, I didn't like it more, or less, than day of the dead (blasphemy right?).
George is pretty reliable and this is him going back to low budget roots, looks pretty good.

I've never liked any of Romero's zombie films. That being said, it doesn't look like a "Romero zombie film", and just another zombie film with a more determined touch, like someone took the remake of Dawn of the Dead and decided to [edit:] revision it as a documentary.

I like that it has that hot blonde chick from the Kit Kat commercials in it. Hopefully we get to see some titties from her.

I didn't even mind Land Of The Dead all that much, except for the ending

Dear diary,
Thought about brains again today. It's becoming a bit of a habit. Whenever I meet a new person, the first thing I think about is what their brain would be like. It's even starting to have a negative effect on my social life, I tend to avoid social situations because of this. I much preferred it when I was living cos then I didn't think about brains, but rather with them. It's not all bad though, when I find someone with a good looking brain, I don't feel quite so bad about attacking them, murdering them and devouring parts of them. I'm glad I'm finally becoming comfortable with who and what I am, although sometimes I wish for a simpler time, when I didn't have to kill my own food. Was thinking I should set up a chain of fast food style brain outlets, where people like me can go to get their brains hassle-free. Plus we can fry them and offer a range of sides. Deep-fried bladder rings, haggis and so on.
Anyway I'm hungry so I guess I gotta go hunt. Later, Diary!
Zombs.

My audio's not working for me so I don't know if they had any news reports in the background, but they have a host of cool people as newscasters: Wes Craven, Stephen King, Simon Pegg, Guillermo del Toro, and Quentin Tarantino.
The most worrying thing is the lack of Tom Savini in the credits. Something's just not right about that. Anyway, it's Romero, so I'll still be seeing it.

Oh ****, Savini's not on there?!
That sucks for sure. I'm sure there's tons of Savini's copy-cats, but Savini is Savini.

I don't understand why it said "groundbreaking new vision". It's every other zombie movie. A couple of hot, young survivors, a mass of zombies, and they try and survive.

Because its being done in a new way, through the camera of one of the people the entire time. Its like Blair Witch Project sorta' idea, is all done by a guys Camera he has doing a d0cumentry and then suddenly Zombie **** starts up and he's filming it all.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. Pretty surprising he wasn't included.
And to everyone making fun of the documentary idea (Jonny): Please shut up.
