PS2 on a PS3

Now, I know that you can play PS2 games on a PS3, thats not an issue.
I'm wondering if anyone knows if its possible to store the games as files on the HD to access directly?

not all ps3's can play ps2 games. also, i highly doubt you can do what you're asking without some sort of hack that probably wouldn't even be worthwhile

Well, mine can. It's an 80gb, and I have already tested it.

I have heard of people storing games in the HD, or an external even, and was wondering if this is possible without invalidating my warranty in any way...
