Alright guys, so today, officially, my 8+ year old stereo crapped out on me. It's been through a lot so I'm amazed it has lasted this long (having been hauled downstairs and outside for parties, left there for days, dropped numerous times, etc.).
Anyway, I think I might start looking into a new stereo. Nothing too fancy, just to allow me to play CDs for some good times. Anything recommendable on the market that's great and cheap? Doesn't have to be a 20-disc changer or some shi.

What do you want the stereo to have? Price range?

Nothing too fancy, just to allow me to play CDs for some good times. idk maybe something that can hook up to an iPod as well? Do they have those? I am v out of the loop when it comes to modern technology. I'm still on the same computer that I got seven or so years ago so yeah.

R.I.P. Leonard.
I'm not too helpful when it comes to this though. Every stereo system I get seems to suck. :(

R.I.P. Leonard. :(
I personally suggest a good stereo system.
I can't quite get into specifics, but good ones tend to be the best.

My stereo broke about a year ago and maybe about 6 months ago I bought a new one for $2 at a yard sale, and it's actually in pretty good shape and works well. Maybe you should look into modernizing a little and trying to find a newer model for a relatively cheap price.

I got the older version of that and it's pretty awesome. Like $250AUS.

RIP Leonard.
My stereo is about 10 years ols, still working quite ok.
Sometimes it says: disc not finalized, nonesense, since I only play original copies.
But oh well.
I dropped it to sometimes and taken it outsidefor parties and god knows what.
If it breaks down, I'll buy one with a USB port.

A proper stereo system is made of many components.

It's not really that hard finding a good stereo, just shop around and find something that's got everything you need.

I have a five disc changer and it always jams when I try to open/close it but I love it anyway.

One time I found a CD deck in the trash can at school, so I took it home and works fine. I looked it up online and it's worth like $300

That's lucky.
Though why anyone would dump a $300 stereo into a school trash can is beyond me.
