So i don't know who i'm going to vote for, i've researched some candidates but haven't found one I really support. Right now i'm leaning towards Obama. A lot of people like Ron Paul for some reason but i wouldn't support him due to a) He doesn't believe in evolution b) pro-life c) has a whack foreign policy.

If you have any info you can share with me about whether to vote for the three main democrats or whatever that'd be cool.

I'm thinking i would much rather see someone else as president but most of the democrats will be somewhat better than any republicans running.

This woman seems like an ideal candidate but there isn't much hope for her.

it's his right and he's chosen to exercise it, why does it matter what the reason is? (probably a never ending debate, let's not go there?)

Ron Paul has one of the better stances on foreign policy, to be honest. It's everything else that is absurd.

because he could make better use of his time by doing literally anything else

Don't vote, tbh.

him voting would probably yield better results than you voting. no offense.

Reaganista
01-07-2008, 10:47 PM
actually there would be no result for either

Nobody voting at all would bring about more change, tbh.

if you're saying one person doesn't have to vote then that fine. but you can't say people shouldn't vote because that would imply it's ok for nobody to vote.

I read in the paper once that a significant amount of the people who vote (10-20 %), vote on who they think will win, just because they like feeling like part of the winning team
kinda like supporting a sports team that you think is the best

I remember the evolution question being posed at one of the GOP debates and three of the candidates denying it...I don't remember Paul being among them...

Edit: It was Huckabee, Tancredo, and Brownback

Paul did deny evolution a while back, I'm not sure if he's still pandering to the idiot public though.

Against Miik!

Well its not like he is a creationist, so its not a big deal.

But tway is right, even though he won't tell you why. Voting is dumb. It doesn't matter how many people vote. The system is f'd up anyways. Theres been massive rumors about of fraud in New Hampshire already. Basically, in every major election from I guess 2000/2004 on, there will be a front runner picked by the media/elites, election fraud to guarantee their win, and then once the general election comes, it doesn't really matter who wins since the parties are the same anyways, because the parties only differ on menial issues. Look at Ron Paul. He's basically a third party candidate at this point. You see signs of support everywhere throughout the country. New Hampshire is even a pretty freedom oriented state. This isn't about whether you agree with Paul or Kucinich or anything. Its just proof that nothing but an establishment candidate will ever win, and there is nothing we can do about it.

yeah its very unfortunate. i guess i don't really care but voting doesn't take much out of me haha so i'll do it just for fun because the primary **** just came in the mail anyways

Ya dude don't vote huge waste of time. Electing a new oppressor every 4 years just so they can say "Look, democracy!" is so old.
