All right guys,
I'm trying to identify an emo band. They had a video played regulary on MTV/2 prolly about 6-8 years ago.
The video is of a 4 piece band, they are wearing suits and ties (red shirts I think). They are running around inside a building with hallways, rooms, etc, and interminttently wearing animal masks. At several clips, the singer is holding and screaming into a mic that is coming down from the ceiling.
The lyrics (as best as I can remember) say something like "..attack of the .... get away, get away" or somethng like that.
I'm looking either for band or song name.
Thanks.

I'm 37 years old, and grew up listening to TSOL, COC, DI, Suicidal Tendencies, DK's, JFA, Dead Milkmen, Fugazi, Minor Threat/Fugazi... you get the picture.
So, yeah, I dig it.

Yeah man that is definitely Refused and their most recognized song. Far from emo and post-hardcore, another band of the same time period around them is Quicksand. Check them out to. Ian Mckay loves Quicksand so I'm surprised Jiron you haven't heard of them as well.
And emo has been around almost two decades Austin, you are only witnessing a commercialized version of it today.

You may be thinking of At The Drive In's One-armed Scissor with those lyrics.

My favourite. I have a drumset tattoo, canvasing both my feet. A banner wrapping around it says "Deadly Rhythm".
