they all have different characteristics.
BB has a huge sound because it's really deep and has ring. Great for classic rock and metal
Chad Smith has a really high tight sound thats great for funkish kind of stuff.
DDrum is all crack with body because of the depth. Great for pop stuff
Like i said, the BP and the sonor are the same but i find the sonor has a much cleaner sound. They're both good for pretty much everything.
my 10" BP is MUCH different from all the others for obvious reasons.
Zep, i do not own a car, i don't even have my liscence, i can ride my bike or take the city bus or take a taxi anywhere i need to go. In the near future i'll be getting my license but i'll be using the car my two sisters started on.

I'm using the curved part of my rack. In case you don't remember, i was using a full rack, but it was too much to bring for gigs. At the same time, a full stand setup took too long to set up so I found a happy medium. I kept the racks just in case i ever need them again. Plus if i return them, i'll get like $50 for it instead of the 200 i paid for both pieces together.
Zep, once i start driving my parents will be paying for insurance and i'll basically just be paying for gas. Plus, with my job, i make $10.20 an hour and work between 32-40 hours a week so my paychecks are usually $600-700.
Also, this snare was bought mostly with money i got from selling my old kit.
Another reason i keep getting new snares is because i just love snares. I love having them, playing them, looking at them, hearing them. So i like to collect them whether i need it or not.

Here, i'll make a thread that you need to post in or i won't post pics. I really really really want to show you what i just bought but i won't let myself until you show me some attention"

rofl no offense but what justifies all of these snares? you aren't in a funk band, im not too sure, but a dead modernist showed me your band and tbh your nice snares don't make it sound any less not good.
i mean, it seems like you could have found something non drum related to buy, as opposed to six snare drums. if you're into collecting, why not collect stuff that's fun to collect, ie, vinyl, stamps, drug paraphanalia, etc.

a) your opinion about my music means nothing to me.
b) snares are fun to collect
ant_182 - It wasn't a mock in a bad way...it was like a spoof. Also, the difference is, theres berk bashing in every thread on this forum, this kind of thread was made twice including mine.

stock heads right now. I'm gonna be getting either a coated G1 over Hazy 300 or a Coated Powercenter over hazy 300 in the future. What do you mean by too soft? volume-wise?

No more like didn't have enough crack to satisfy what I like in a snare. Probably wasnt cranked tight as well, and good choice on heads.

touche. It cracks well IRL. And its not cranked much at all.
The recording isnt exactly flattering. I just plugged a mic into my soundcard and put it in front of the kit. When i get my firepod i'll have some good audio.
