Got this baby tonight 2nd hand... condition's superb, and the sound is awesome too. Very different from the 19" vault my friend has, and the 18" avedis medium crash that I used to own too! I'm lovin' it. :P

Thought I might just wh0re it here a little... btw anybody know how much these babies go for either brand new (unlikely though, discontinued line), or 2nd hand?

TBH, I've never played on one of these before, but someone offered them to me for a really low price, so I figured I had nothing to lose, and decided to grab them.

Turns out its pretty decent. I was half expecting them to be unresponsive at low volumes, like the avedis medium series crashes, but it works at low volumes. Shimmers are fantastic, and when you hit it, it roars like an armoured bear.

Lol. The price I paid for this crash can't even get me a boom stand, and the boom arm that I'm getting to mount this on is gonna cost me more than the crash itself.

u can try ebaying them... they're discontinued =/ i ebayed for paiste dimensions and i had a few links with relatively reasonable prices.

or just grab some sigs... if im not mistaken the dimensions line was discontinued and merged into the signature line because they both sounded similar or something.

Old K hunt is useless and futile. Don't start.

(Inflation is bad enough with the amount of hunters there are:smash::thumb:)

But, I love Dimensions in the studio, but live I feel they overwhelm everything. Especially in small unmiced venues. But, that is just my opinion from listening to drummers who use them.
