Breakcore and drill'n'bass?
Math rock is a pretty confusing term as it is, so I'm not sure what you actually want. There are certainly math rock bands that use synths and elctro bleeps etc. And then there are genres like breakcore which are more rooted in Electronica but have similar aesthetics to math rock. These two types of music are pretty different though, so which is it your looking for?

rhythmically complex, odd time signatures, tempo changes, etc.
electronic instruments instead of guitar and other traditionally "rock" instruments

it might help to know where im comming from,
i am a drummer, and i enjoy math rock music
but i have some sampling equipment and often enjoy practicing playing with electronics (like roland spds if u know what that is), and was wondering if there is i market for combining the two, math rock and electronic music

if there is a market?
you mean if people would buy it if you created this kind of music?
if so yeah definitely, just make it (and let me know when you do because it's a cool sort of music you're talking about) but if you're looking for artists who already do this, then yeah i'm sure some people here can give you recommendations. another artist that comes to mind is Battles, whose latest cd Mirrored i'm sure you'd like

I'd say check out Battles, Sleeping People (not really electronic per se), and you'd probably like Squarepusher and Low in the Sky, though they're not exactly what you're looking for.

Low in the Sky is cool
and on a seperate note, speeling people is probably one of my absoulte favorite bands
but to refine my search, the kinda stuff i play is like trance tracks, with no drums, and i play live dnb/jungle-esque stuff over it, often in oddtime

maybe try Yip Yip? I know they've played with Sleeping People, and they kind of fit your description.

Yip Yip were ****ing insane when I saw them with Sleeping People. I got to talk to them about music for a while because they have a lastfm and incidentally great taste.
They're the closest thing to an electronic math rock band you get to.

nothing against yip-yip, they are pretty cool, but i think that they are a bit more experimental than "math" oriented

I lived in Winter Park, FL, where Yip Yip are from, for a while a few years ago and I saw them play a local show. It was so good, lots of blacklights and roller skates. They were total weirdos when I spoke to them, though.
They're starting to really take off, touring nationally with the Locust, etc.
As for this thread topic, I have nothing to offer.

My band was set to open for Yip-Yip and then I had an exam so I couldn't make the trip. No biggy.

yeah,
my band opened for Yip-Yip as well, they're pretty ridiculous live. They seemed nice too, but I didn't really talk to them much,
