New pups

I recently brought a ibanez af75 and was wondering if it would be worth upgrading any of the components. I read that it could use better pickups. what would you recommend. I don't really have a budget.

what sort of pickups are they (singlecoil etc..)?

what sort of tone do you want?

ok theres two passive humbucker pickups and i'm after a bluesy rock sound. When the guy played it in store he got a sound out of it that reminded me of one of my favorite bands 'Minutemen' which made me buy it and thats the sort of sound im after

okay, i suggest either a set of Dimarzio's from their classic to medium output sets (there are lots of pickups in there that match what your after)

or some SD's - again they pretty much have only two sets of pickup for rock or blues so most of them are gonna be what your after

what isuggest you do is go to your nearest big guitar shop and try out some guitars which are equiped with SD's etc.. or go on there websites and listen to soundclips
