Howdy mx bass forum people.

I guess it's not mx anymore, but anyways.

I used to Frequent this forum alot, never posted much though.
It was through this places exchange of thoughts. idea's and opinions that I pushed myself to be as a versatile a bass player as I could be, Bought my second bass off of Leftshoe, if he's still around.

But I suppose I should ot the point, a couple months ago I purchased The "Conklin Bill Dickens Signature model Groove tools 7 string bass guitar". and have since joined a punk band that's gaining some level of success, I've been trying to play it as much as I can, But I keep putting it down in favour of my 4, So what I'm hoping for is, A straight across Trade of my 7 string bass for either a Gibson Ripper, or Musicman Stingray.

Anyone interested please post in this thread.

It's been awhile since i've posted on a forum so If i've committed any faux pas's please let them slide.

Thanks,
Nick

Trading a stingray for a 7-string might be tough. Not too many 4-string players are sitting there thinking, "I'm not content with 4 strings anymore. I could at least 3 more."

I'd probably recommend either craigslist or a local music shop. I've heard that you can get more out of a trade than selling outright.

Better yet, 7-string punk. That'd be sweet. I go see your show just for that.

I also recommend selling it on craigslist or maybe ebay.

Yeah. What kind of a loser would do that?
