What up everyone,

So my last song was a pretty big hit I guess, for me at least haha. I had over 300 plays in under 2 days, which is pretty nice to see. Anyways I composed a new song, very chill, with a electro beat. Its called "Underneath The Layers" , Let me know what you all think,

damnit, i'm not at my regular place for another few weeks, so i won't be able to check it out for a little while unless i splurge for speakers or something. my parents have a knack for buying shitty laptops and pcs with malfunctioning soundcards

yeah you could pretty easily add a snocap or itunes or napster application onto your myspace. try to make a few bucks, and if not - oh well.

As long as people are willing to buy it, its a good idea :D

but seriously, what does it matter how long you play? If you manage to get good songs that are worthy to sell, why not?

not my favourite, solid tune though. instead of trying to make bucks on the sale of your music, why not try and do it live? full band, not necessarily solo. you definitely have a concept you can work with and your songs are pretty great

im trying to take it to the next level, while my *** is broke. So I gave it a shot, why not, you know? lots of people told me theyd support me on it, so Im like, WHY NOT, haha. Yea the full live band thing is def an idea ive had, but at this time, due to many events, It wont happen anytime soon ( car trouble, amp not in this state..... all this other stuff) , so for now, im doing my thing.

I hear that. Raayl is reduced to a studio-only projekt atm due to me being broke as ****in' hell.

PS I love your stuff. This one is great. So much movement, I can almost "see" the energy of the beat in the intro traveling from speaker to speaker as it pans. That was HOT.

Also, you're experimenting with something here that has the potential to become VERY tedious. Alot of the ambient jam types have to be careful that everything they do doesn't sound the same, and they HAVE to make sure that each song has it's own, personal appeal.

Your songs do that, they're killer-sweet melodies and arrangements and enjoyable tone.

But most importantly, they all have their own "appeal." They all have a certain metaphysical aesthetic to me, and I dig it. That's very difficult to do.

I also like how the stuff just POURS out of you. I mean you practically do a song a day. That's exactly how I am. What that suggests to me is you have a sound and recording "ritual" figured out and the hardest part about being a solo artist is out of the way. (which is how to record yourself, how to make what you have sound GOOD.)

So now your thoughts are un-hindered and just pour out. Good stuff.

thanks alot for that man. I appreciate all that you said. It is true, I do make the music that I make. I dont go for a goal, I just make it. You know? Cause if you TRY to make music, it'll be like a chore instead of like the greatest thing in the ****in world. Def the hardest part was setting up all the recording, the mixing, as a solo artist, and now I do have that kinda down ( with the gear that I have) so its a good thing, cause once a idea pops into my head ,BAM song time. so thanks man I appreciate all that :chug:

and supernaut thank you again, you've been checking out my music for a while now, respect. Top 12? NICE . thanks man, and be on the look out for new tunes ! woooo haha
