bass that can sing?

I am trying to find me a front bass lead vocalist and we are having a horrible time. We (producer and I) have gotten loads of responses, but the vocals are way off. Please Mr. Singing Bass Man come my way. I am based in the Atl. area.

Why not get a lead vocalist and a bassist? Or a lead vocalist/guitarist who could learn to play bass?
