bindelos is an indietrash golden oldie that I haven't really asked you guys about before, so I'm gonna do that right now.

please offer some feedback on the other tracks as well, if you want.

Myriad: Interesting. Cool shift from noise to guitar. I liked a lot of the noise/synth stuff you guys had going on. It has a very epic feel to it. It was dope. The end sounded like an android having a cheeseburger induced heart attack.

bindelos: WTF? This one sounds like one android giving another android a hummer while experiencing a systems crash, only to reboot and find the other android's **** still in her mouth. I don't know, it was kind of cool and kind of grating at the same time.

optimist: I'll be honest, I didn't really like this one. The guitar sound was really, um, grating and ear piercing. The song didn't really seem to be going anywhere.

bonding I: hmmm...weird. I don't know. I just don't know. I didn't think it was going anywhere, but then at around 1:30 you really started to bring the noise and it was worth it for the payoff.

bonding II: holy ****, I'm going to need some serious psychiatric work if I keep listening to your music. Cool stufff. Very avant garde. I liked the dynamics. Most of the time if someone just ****ed with a beep for a minute or so it would be totally gay, but you actually did something cool with it. Nice job.

bonding III: Interesting musical casserole. You kept me guessing throughout, although I wish it was longer.

In summary, you guys are ****ing head cases and should probably be institutionalized. FOR LIFE! :smash:

Myriad is a track by the very gifted artist *luhn. that track is released on a split between myself and him, available for free here: http://www.luhn-alexanderberntsen.tk
I like it too :D

thanks for all the kind words on the bonding series as well as bindelos - and thanks heaps for listening to optimist even though it wasn't up to your standards :p

cheers mate.

p.s.
I agree - we _should_ probably be institutionalized.

****ed up, but sounds pretty cool. Kinda draws you in and then makes you jump with a sudden bleep. The only thing i would say is that it should have maybe ended around the 1:20 mark, as it seems to draw to an end there, but then just come back with more of the same.

Hey Happy Squirrel,

Thanks for listening to Myriad, even if you though it was an indietrash hit. :p

But I must note, that there was no synth involved in the making of Myriad, like my other blunders. Mainly just guitar and some of my "special" samples.

in his defence, he said "noise/synth" ;)

Bonding I: It sounds like I'm in a factory wearing earplugs. The guitar fading up sounds good, the guitar tone is a bit grainy I would say. It all sounds like an airplane taking off or something.

Bonding II: The noise in the beginning sounds cool, its like an industrial wind. Static fading. Now I'm on the emergency broadcast system apparently. Its a pretty mellow, slow moving melody, sounds good with the sound being used.

Bonding III: The intro of this one kind of jumps around between noises too quickly I think. So far I haven't really been really into it besides the emergency broadcasting part because the rest just sounds like noise. Not much melody happening.

Bindelos: This one had a decent subtle melody, but its hard to hear amongst the random noise. I guess I'm not a huge fan of the static-y noises, but the high humming noises are pretty neato.

Optimist: Interesting guitar to start. The guitar tone isn't very good, its kind of grating like Happy Squirrel said. I would have liked to hear a better progression or something? This one wasn't bad, it just felt like it didn't go anywhere.

Myriad: The swell into the guitar was nice. Acoustic guitar sounds really good, great tone. The rhythm guitar is very heavily distorted, which isn't really bad, but it clashes a bit with the acoustic. I think its guitar anyways. I can hear a high pitched melody deep in the mix, and its good. It adds a lot to the part. I like the ambience of this one, it has a very solemn feel to it.

Well in my opinion I couldn't really dig it because a lot of was too noisy for me, but it definitely has got atmosphere haha. Keep it up :)
