The Faint blow.
Electronica is a wide genre of music. I like The Flaming Lips, you could call them electronica.
Lame thread is lame.
Thanks

New of montreal is great. I know quite a few people say the gay parade is their best album and yeah i do enjoy it however i think hissing fauna is better. And the whole electroic think really suits them. Still wouldent mind more guitar work from them, some of their riffs are tasty.

New Of Montreal is better. And if Death From Above 1979 is amazing, if you consider them to be electronic-rock
And The Faint sucks. A lot. Especially Danse Macabre.
And might I recommend The Helio Sequence, theyre of this style.

Death From Above 1979 in a way isn't, because they don't always use drum machines. Plenty of bands do it that way. Smashing Pumpkins did it with 1979, and even the majority of Adore, bit that doesn't necessarily mean they are electronic.

someone recommend some music similar to any of these:
The Knife
early Liars
Daft Punk
Chemical Brothers
Klaxons, CSS, Simian Mobile Disco, etc
Justice
DFA 1979
Pendulum
SH'ITDISCO
Please don't recommend Of Montreal or anyone like that, I can't stand that music. I dislike The Faint as well.

I know LCD Soundsystem but the rest I've never heard. My friend at college was raving about Digitalism to me recently after he saw them live, so I've been meaning to get into them anyway.

I'm actually not a big fan of a lot of those bands, they're just the type of bands that this thread was asking for. There are only about 4 or 5 here that I actively listen to
