I'm an obsessive documentor when it comes to concerts. I could've easily linked to a list I have on my RYM for the concerts I've been to, but I had time on my hands and decided to type it all out.

Yeah I used to keep ticket stubs.
I did my list from memory so I dunno who I'm kidding.
Luckily the band list from the Woodstock in 94 and Warped Tours in the 2000s were still available on internets.
The 80s were the greatest times of my life so most of those shows I will never forget.

Were they any good?
They were amazing. I saw them at this tiny venue, and it was a shitty, rainy cold night, so very few people came. A few punk rockers, a few indie kids, and a few older folks who were probably pretty cool twenty years ago.
Dave Thomas is just as animated and captivating as he ever was. One of my favorite shows ever.
To my list, I need to add:
Ben Folds
Make Believe
Mewithoutyou

Word, word. I heard a story recently from a guy who went and saw X at a club in Minneapolis, and then, after the show, walked next door to get a beer and accidentally found the Replacements, trashed out of their mind and playing a set. Oh, to live in Minneapolis and be of proper age in the 1980's...
I forgot, I also saw Ryan Adams. I can't remember if I included him on my list.

DBoon's Ghost well impressed with some of your 90's list
would have loved to have seen Janes Addiction live
Yeah it was a great show too. I expected them to be bad in that junkie rocker sorta way but once the sound guys got the mix right the band was awesome. My brother was with me and he was all hopped up on goofballs so it made it worse but in a funny way for me but not for him. I think the tour was around 1990 or 91.. It was the Ritual tour.

That's such a great story. The Replacements toured plenty and I recall having a chance to see them in the 80s but I dunno what happened. I do recall a night when we were gonna check out Westerberg solo in the mid 90s but if I recall Watt was playing Mercury Lounge and I went to that instead. My friends thought I was crazy because I was in love with the Replacements all throughout the 80s, but Westerberg didn't touch that stuff and he only played his solo stuff.
There are still literally hundreds of bands I would have loved to catch at a show.

If the Replacements got back together and toured, which seems a lot closer to happening these days than one would think, there isn't a maximum I would pay for a ticket. I'd cut an ear off.

I was actually pretty disappointed by X live, but they were probably better back in the day.

If I made a list, and if I sorted it from best to worst, Daft Punk would now be in the number 1 spot.
