ok so, here's a poll with ideas that have been brought up.. this won't be anything definitive, just to get an indication on what people would like most..

I like cleanest setup but i don't think people would vote for me because i'm open-handed. Also, my setup doesn't look that clean.

I'll vote for it anyway...but best ride would be my second choice (even though at least 3 other people have the same ride as me)

HiHat is okay, but like, It'd be quite boring
Cleanest setup = YAWN
Creative Setup = the person with the biggest set up who's put everything upside down and at weird angles
Ride = I could have a shot at this, but I think it's quite a pointless thing, as, what are you meant to vote for as your favorite ride cymbal?

Well, we've already done a cymbal contest, so ride and hi-hats are out. I'd just as soon do another all around cymbal one as more people could enter, other than just those who have a nice ride.

We don't want to do anything that severely limits participation as a creative setup contest would, because most of us just have fairly standard setups. I also feel that cleanest setup would be very limiting and not very interesting. So I voted for action shot. We can (and will) also cycle back and do another full kit contest at some point (excluding the previous winner).

Seafroggys can take better pictures than me and, since we have the same hats and ride, he'd win that.

My setup isn't necessarily creative (has been in the past, I could submit some of those, I gues) and a lot of people don't like it...
