I was just thinking... I've never seen a professional drummer wearing a trilby on stage. Can anyone shed any light on this phenonema?

Pretty sure I've seen a picture of Sheila E wearing a trilby. Could be wrong though.

Well, according to good ole Wiki, apparently lots of musicians do, but they don't distinguish between types of instruments...
Drummers where fedoras, I don't see why not trilbys as well?

Zoro? I don't think I've seen him without a hat on, although it might not be a trilby.

One thing is for sure though, and that is that wearing a hat will make you 100% better at playing.

Bah. I call them fedoras. I also have five of them and wear one to almost every gig, but I'm no professional.

I wear fedoras, have 3 of them.
But, apparently, trilby =/= fedora.

True...I buy most of my clothing from thrift stores or similar stores, and it really is. If I'm looking for a certain kind of shirt, it can take a while to find it.

Dude totally go in full school uniform. Or do the 'Back to School Disco' type thing, like, sexified school uniform.

It was a joke?

Yeah he was trying to mock the retarded question that really has nothing to do with drummers at all.

It's all taste, dude. I have a number of suits. Generally the dinner/posh suits will have straighter legs, but the suit I use for most gigs has rather baggy legs on it too. That's the style

I've got a couple more too. I have a 30's zoot suit that's extra baggy. Suits and fedoras/trilbys are where it's at.
