I've teamed up with power/speed/death/thrash metal meister Duane Timlin (Dying Fetus) to do drum tracks for hire.

You send us the tracks, preferably recorded to a click along with a check for $150, which upon clearing gets Duane working on your songs. If you want to submit a drum machine tracks as a guide to what you want him to do, that is welcome as well.

Duane then records his performance in a professional studio, which we then ship back to you in Pro Tools format or as raw tracks that can line up in any workstation. I can currently import/export as Sonar, Tracktion or Cubase project files as well, the transfer to these programs will be $50 extra.

So in case you're interested - we're doing $150 per song, which entitles one do-over, the raw tracks in digital format downloadable for you on the net or snail mail on a DVD.

If anyone is interested - email me at drummer(at)houstonmusic.info

If things take off we're looking to add a credit card functionality to our services as well.

this'll blatently get closed for advertising but it's quite a nice idea.

However, Band X what are you going to do when you want to play live? Find a drummer as fast as Duane?

Why would any of us trust a random anonymous guy on the internet?

Yeah good question Knifeboy, I am not very well known on this forum.

I am a recording engineer in Houston, TX for Absolute Sound Studios and have a roster of metal artists that I've worked on. I already do mixing and mastering with internet clients from remote locations but usually they're friends or referrals from people I've worked in the past.

As far as Duane is concerned I guess if he gips you off he's bound to tour your town so he'd be a really easy guy to get a hold of.

I already got a few clients through EQ magazine that are working with me but as far as you're concerned - what will make you feel safer in the transaction? I'd honestly like to get your opinion.

Thanks.
