Sup guys, just wondering whats the bets amp under 250 bucks?

right now i have a shitty fender rumble 15 which sounds like cr@p, can barely be heard and makes weird noises when past half volume, so i was wondering whats the best cheap option.

And yeah i posted a thread about warwick corvettes, but i just wanna make up my mind so when i get the money ill be ready to buy what i need (bass and a nice amp of course).

But right now im only worried about improving, but i need a good sounding amp so when i play with a friend it sounds at least decent.

I'm gonna get flamed for this....

If your looking for cheap, looking for used amps is a good idea... but also look into Behringer. 9 times out of 10 they sound great, but the only catch is the quality on them is hit and miss. You'll buy it and theres a 50% chance it might crap out on you within the first few months. Usually its just a blown fuse, which is easily replaced, but sometimes you'll blow a speaker or something like that.

Personally when I get the funding up to get back into playing in a band again, I'm going to spend the ~$450 to get the Behringer 4x10" 450watt combo amp. I've played one before and thought it sounded fantastic. Regardless it'll get the job done and get me back into the gig scene.

If you want something a bit smaller, I believe there are 1x15" Behringer combo amps that run 120 watts plus for around $200-$275.
