Looking for a new bass amp

Hi!

I'm currently looking for a new bass amp. My actual amp is a Peavey Microbass which I bought 3 years ago when I started playing bass.

I don't want to pay more than 450$ for the amp, and I wanted to know what are the best amps for that price. I only play in my room so I dont need a very powerful amp. But I do care about the sound quality though. I mostly play rock and metal. My bass is a ESP B-50, but I plan on getting a new one soon.

So, any advice would be appreciated, tnx!

I personally enjoy Ashdown's so play what you can find from them a couple times to see if you like it. A lot of people would also recommend Fender Rumbles but I was never too big on em. Rolands are cool too.

Look at the different models by those 3 companies and check out many others before making a decision.
