I have an Epiphone SG G-400. I want to put a tremolo arm on it. I was wondering if a Floyd Rose would work, or if a Bigsby would be the best choice?
thanks.

you'd have a hell of a time fitting a floyd on there.
alot of routing for a bridge that would cost about as much as the guitar is worth. also i think SG's might be too thin to fit a floyd on.
i know kahler makes a surface mount trem, then http://www.stew-mac.com sells some bridge you can replace the stop bar with, and it gives you a little trem (dunno how good it is)
then theres the stetsbar, which is expensive as hell, but requires no modifications at all to put on.

if you can find a washburn wonderbar get it, true surfacemount with no routing required, just screw it on and your set to wham away
