I'm looking to buy a midi keyboard for around $200 dollars, but I'm looking for one that has speakers built in and has some sort of "piano mode." I want to be able to practice learning piano on a keyboard that doubles as a midi controller. Are there any midi keyboards like this out there?

The midrange Casios often have USB Midi out/ins, and they have a variety of 'interesting' patches, including Pianos.

Yeah, I've got a keyboard that sold for $120 bucks in 1996, which means you can find similar ones for 10 bucks at a yard sale. So long as it's got midi in/out, you're good. Even this old piece of **** has touch sensitivity, on-keyboard recording function (which means you can record something, then hook it up to midi and play it into a program), a bunch of sounds, pitch bend, etc... and I plug it into Midi, fire up Reason or FL Studio and have a hayday.
So just do that.

You're going about it the wrong way around, though.
What you want is a standalone keyboard that also has MIDI capabilities.
Not the other way round.
