Hello, I am normally on the bass forums, but recently it has become apparent my band needs a singer, and since we don't know any singers I have been concidering stepping up to the task. The only problem is I can't write or sing very well. I was hoping that I could get some pointers as I have done A-level english language and literature so I thought I might be able to compose some good lyrics from my experiences with poetry. Also some tips on how to sing would help.

Not really annoyed.

Not me at least.

It's normal to question your songwriting abilities, but what we've compiled helps a lot. :)

as for boosting lyrical abilities, just read through the forums and get an idea of what bad songwriting is and what good is.
