Hey guys, I'm from the guitar forums and need a really simple song done on drums. My band really wants to record the song "23" by Jimmy Eat World, and while my drummer can play it we have no way of recording the drums to even sound decent. I have tried programming the drums but my computer has crashed twice because of viruses from those programs that were supposedly from "safe" websites, and my computer really isnt much of a powerhouse that would be able to handle programs like that very well. So if someone could PLEASE either record or program this song for me it would be greatly appriciated. You will get full credit for your work, I promise. It's not a hard song by any means, shouldnt take too long, but you guys can do it 100x better than I could.

Thanks Guys.

I love to help, but my microphone is one from a shitty digital camera. Rad song though. Good luck.

Hm. I might be able to learn and record it this weekend. Does it matter what speed or are you guys just doing the same speed as the original song?

I'm going to get an electric set this weekend, so I can get something to the computer by Monday probably, if no one else has done stuff by then.

I'd record good quality drums if you could wait a few months =/ Some one else will do it before then.

depends how good you want the quality i can record the drum track on an electric kit but cymbals will sound bland! (they havent mastered that on the TD8!)

i wouldnt really know the difference haha, im not much of a drummer. This is just for like myspace and other band pages, just so its not like a one or two song deal we are throwing in a couple covers. It doesnt have to be immaculate.

Thanks guys, I really appriciate this.

If you don't want it EXACTLY as played, I can get a recording up in 3-4 hours with the general beat.

that could work, i dont need it 100% perfect, but just like enough so that i will know what to play and where

I recorded it in one take, so there are a few mistakes. The drum beat that I started with is close to the one in the song, but it changed through out the song. I played along with the live version that was on youtube, so I'm guessing that is the right tempo.

I also forgot to mention that I was kind of messing around in the beginning (that's what the high hat stuff is, I forgot to cut it out).

Make sure you have cookies enabled on your browser. I just tried it from one of the school's computers, and I didn't have any trouble.
