I need to do 2 Jazz standards for my audition for school so Im going to do "On Green Dolphin Street" and "Night and Day".
Can someone help me find these?
I don't know how easy/difficult it is but I really don't know where to look and I havent had much luck on limewire.


I'd love it if someone could help!

Oh, I forgot to mention im putting these on my ipod so I can drill the melody into my head... I've already checked out youtube!

Why would you play something you haven't heard?

Unless they are given to you, then that makes sense...


If you need something, I transcribed Humph by Theloneous Monk, and I can send you the song and music.
It's way fast though...It might be too fast for you (I can't even play it up to speed).

They have both been given to me, sorry I should have mentioned that.
Those are 2 of the required tunes that I am supposed to play.

I have a recording of green dolphin street by Herbie Hancock with Tony on Drums. I read the chart once on my guitar and they sounded a bit different but you can probably get a pretty good feel for the chart with the Hancock version. Plus listening to Tony never hurt anybody... (unless of course you try to imitate him and are easily discouraged :smash:)
