View Full Version : Odd hardcore bands
So I was just wondering if anyone know any good bands similar to maybe The Fall Of Troy or The Blood Brothers. I'm grateful for all the tips I can get on different/weird bands in the field. Thanks

F*ck the Facts, Unexpect, Ruins. I'm not sure if that's totally along the lines, but it's the closest i've ever gotten to post-hardcore-type stuff.

I don't see how AWS is odd, but umm... Fear Before The March of Flames might be up your ally.

Oh, dude! Man is the B@stard!
MITB is this crazy industrial band. They belong to the specific genre of "Power Violence", which is basically punk grindcore. Anyways, MITB is very unique, choosing to omit guitar, and instead expressing their vegan punk fury with bass guitar and industrial noise. They have 2 bassists, and the parts tend to be fast and distorted. MITB also makes some only-noise stuff. You can catch them on iTunes with their album "thoughtless...".
Wow, that was quick. Thanks for the tips, I'll check 'em out right now.

Go to the Emo community thread and scroll down to a band you recognize and check out their surroundings. Probably your best bet.
