Can anybody give me the name of a program to burn dvd's on mac. I used to use intervideo but that was on a pc. i just got a mac and i need to burn/copy dvd's.
also not avi or anything, NTSC dvd's. I tried DVD2onex2 but no go. there some messed up error message.

You can't burn DVDs on a mac. Burning DVDs is a very common practice today, and the ability to do so comes standard on most computers. Naturally, this wouldn't occur on a mac. Any attempt to do so will result in a broken computer than you won't be able to fix. You will have to send it into Apple, so that there "IT artists" can go to work on a machine that isn't supposed to break down.

Ya I know. I don't want to be that guy. But seriously, I just really hate Macs. Nothing can be done about it. They just piss the hell outta me. As do the people who use them. Not all, just the ones who are constantly shoving in your face how cool and hip they are for no other reason that they have the ability to be mesmerized by fancy icons that get bigger when you touch them and cool slogans like "It just works".

i've had mine for 38 months (3 years two months) and its still going strong. burns DVD's, too.
i've had mine for about 4 years, and mine is fine, only ever had a problem when the motherboard blew up 6 months ago
burns dvds too :D

I personally use a mac and my cousins are always telling me I should buy a PC so I can play games and stuff- but I don't get into computer games, I use my computer for the internet, typing and multimedia and my mac works just fine for that as far as I'm concerned.
My cousins on the other hand play online games all the time and they use PCs and that works fine for them.
TS- you should've gotten the program iDVD already installed in your mac, if you're looking for a better program though, get Toast Titanium.
