i didnt think this was being made anymore but it looks like it is. I also don't agree with the timeline Lucas chose to use, it's set between episodes III & IV

personally i feel it would have been better if he changed the whole outlook on StarWars, go back a couple hundred years and give the film a more natural feel, maybe show how the jedi first came into existance and formed the council.

I don't know but making a TV series set around the same time as the movies is just a bad bad idea :(

This is a bad idea in general. He's slowly killing a legacy. I never thought that much of it to begin with, but this isn't helping.

Hmm, between iii and iv is interesting...

It'd be cool if they did a short stories type of thing, different characters, different eras, etc...

Everyone already knows what happened between eps III and IV though, or at least a rough idea. Do we really need details of something that isn't that hard to figure out?

I agree something with the KOTOR would have been much better.

I think it'll be cool to see the rise of the empire and all vaders evil minions. I have a serious storm trooper fetish though.

A TV show out of a movie that first came out three decades ago? Why, does George not have enough money out of a) the original series, b) the crappy prequels, c) the merchandise, d) the video games, or e) any other star wars-related things he can squeeze out with his stubby little fingers?

Should be a miniseries about the more important jedi/sith origins. Different characters per episode, have some overlaps.

As long as it has copious amounts of lightsaber battles and extended starfighter sequences ill enjoy it. Also the imperial guards should be in it for more than the three seconds they got in ROTJ

^^^ Wholeheartedly agreed and hoping for.

I dunno, inbetween 3 and 4 is 20 years isn't it? Alot of things could happen and im sure things they mention in 4/5/6 might happen in the TV series. I'm not saying they did say anything, i can't remember if they did but you know what i mean.

The empire has to dominate the entire universe in that time. Itĺ be good lucas will make sure of that. i mean 5/6 isnt a bad strike rate for movies is it?

Yeah, I think it might be better to have severl ongoing storylines set in different times periods. I would like to see some post-Battle of Endor stuff.
