I think it could definitely make for a good sounding pop song. It reminds me of 80's pop, XTC or Tears for Fears kind of stuff in a way.
Which is a good thing.

It's cuz it's kind of... well like you said, it's nothing high brow, kind of playful, but it's still, I dunno- relevant
