Parodius?

anyone remember this game?
a friend just gave me a snes emulator for my emac and ultimate parodius is on there.
i'm not sure if it had an english release as the version i have is japenese.
it's awesome though and i'm totally hooked!:chug:

I played it last night on MAME.

I've always loved this game it's got the kind of stupid randomness that keeps me content.

any game where the bad guys include kettles and cake will do me just fine.
best character = michael the pig
