I don't care. Some of your favorites perhaps.
Robocop? Is it boring like a lot of 70s/80s action films? (that's the era right?)

Robocop is really heavy in satire, cheesy one-liners and needless but awesome explosions.
If you'll see anything, just browse around rottentomatoes.

Do you mean Broken Flowers by any chance? The one with Bill Murray?
And on second thought, I'm in a sci fi mood.

No, I mean Broken Blossoms with Lilian Gish.
And I can't really think of any sci fi off the top of my head.

um, why? It just totals movie reviews and averages them out. It's nothing to swear by, but it's really helpful in browsing to find new movies. I've found dozens of new flicks by using the tomatometer.

Shallow Grave is great! I love Danny Boyle.
To pick one randomly out of there, I hated Little Shop of Horrors. :-\
Oh yeah, I just remembered I have Ichi The Killer burned on a DVD, never watched it. I'm probably going to watch that.
We can use this thread to reccomend movies to each other though.
I reccomend to any fans of noir/crime films:

The only thing I don't like about it is that they changed the ending, love the b-movies.

While About Schmidt is good and i haven't seen Little Miss Sunshine, i'm thinking more lots of comedic and over the top high speed chases from the law.

Blues Brothers comes to mind. Haven't seen Cannonball Run, but it seems like it would fit. Maybe Deathrace 3000. They don't run from the law, but it's certainly over-the-top. Trying to run over a baby must count for something.
Coppola's Dracula is another good vampire flick.
That was crap on a stick. You might as well watch the original Nosferatu which, for any flaws, can be chalked up to 1920s technology. Coppola's has no excuse for sucking so hard.

**** off, it was a beautiful film.
And even if you thought it sucked, there were no technological flaws, that was one of the best aspects of the film.

The special effects were horrendous. But, really, I'm speaking of acting, characters, and story progression for why it was really bad.
But, I only saw it recently. For when it came out, hell, it won 3 Oscars, one for effects. They may have been good in 1992, but they did not age well.

Wow. And here I was not going to mention it because it's like a prerequisite to be on the internet or something.
Definitely check it out. Belushi and Akroyd are amazing, with great musical numbers from Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and such, as well as a ridiculously over-the-top cop chase at the end (biggest pile-up you've ever seen).
How were the special effects bad?
Primarily, Dracula's shadow. I know it was supposed to be on its own, but it was just so campy and horrible looking. I was constantly reminded of The Simpsons' episode where their spoofing on it. Plus, the atmosphere was so poor that it just added to its stupidity rather than unnerving me like it was with Keanu,
This exact thing wasn't done in the original Nosferatu, but how they worked the shadow into the story was much better just as his shadow.
I'd credit Army of Darkness as having better special effects.
