View Full Version : Ever Make A Bad Purchase?

I know everyone says to try something out at the store before buying it. But not everyone always listens. Discuss your bad buys in this thread. One thing I regret buying is a planet waves strap lock. Stupid things ripped the screw right out of my old GSR 190. It was never the same again... :upset:

I own a Zoom 506 bass pedal that I used to use.

There's a reason I don't use it anymore.

How are you ever going to recover?

How are you ever going to recover?

It doesn't matter what kind of bass it was, if you buy strap locks you shouldn't have any reasonable expectation that they will rip the screws right out of your bass.

That being said, I have not regretted any purchase yet, though I have to admit I have found little practical use for the Bass Synth Wah I bought from LEC a while back.

Ok, you're right, the GSR 190 is a 100 dollar bass, don't be surpised when the wood fails on you.

Why don't you quit being a pompous asshole and take your elitism somewhere else.

I've had a GSR200 for 5+ years now, guess how many components have failed on it?

I'll give you a hint, it's about the same level as your IQ.

Ready?

Zero.

So step off, bitch and take your **** somewhere else.

What in the hell are you talking about? Are you saying they are the highest quality basses? With low end basses don't be surprised when the wood cracks or breaks, and calm down, you're acting ridiculous.

STFU THECLAP NONE OF YOU ELITIZMZ.

Bad purchases?

Not really. Washburn Rover RO10 was a pretty pointless purchase I guess, but I did manage to get some usage out of it before selling it.

One of those Ibanez PD7 (i think) pedals. The distortion/overdrive one. I still have it, because no one will buy it.

da_s_man13
09-10-2007, 09:44 PM
I also got one of those PD-7 pedals. Offloaded it to someone who didnt care what the distortion sounded like. Also got an American Big Muff. Rollo47 is making good use of it im fairly sure. In short, fx blow.
