you can block many sites simply by using the microsoft windows hosts file!
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts.sam
and enter the site i.e sputnik or musicianforums

course you can unblock it early but then you can make another account. also this way you couldn't even read mx.

Dear Sputnik Moderators,


I am writing to you in regard to a request that I have for a large avatar. I feel that my person is a beneficial addition to the MX community which is shown by means of my reputation rating. As many of you may remember, I'm not a twat so I didn't used to have all red bars, and my rep rating wasn't around negative 4,500. By ways of positive posts, and being an enjoyable part of the MX community, I have since brought my reputation rating to 21425 +rep.

This may not be a huge deal, but it goes to show that people enjoy my company here, as I enjoy theirs.
