honestly, GD is suffering a bit. i know this stuff goes in cycles sometimes, and sometimes there is nothing that can be done. but the forum is pretty dead sometimes now, and the lameness recently has reached....new heights

i'm not complaining, because i like it and don't consider myself any better a poster or thread maker then anyone else, however it just seems many don't like to post there anymore. i see posters using other forums who used to post there, and now they hardly visit. i see some threads get closed and other more lame ones remain open for days. or just as lame

no easy solutions, but it seems GD went away a couple years ago and came back better after its closure. i like the "looser" feel of it. but their is a difference between "loose" and straight out idiocy, excessive trolling, flaming, and spamming. when it sometimes seems that is all thats happening

i'm pretty sure some rules still exist for GD. GD needs a respected rule enforcer to get things centered again. even if it doesn't last, sometimes you have to clean things up if for no other reason then to let it get messy again

its like a toilet. it might be shi.t, and people will keep shi.tting in it, but sometimes you gotta flush the damn thing BEFORE it accumalates so people know a build up won't be tolerated

and three mods may not be enough. not when half the time only one is online, if that

just my opinion. i don't say much these days...so plz indulge it if nothing more

um there are enough mods and you dont even see how much crap we delete but people complain if we take more than five seconds to delete a bad thread
then they complain there is too much moderating anyway
you are saying we are too lenient but people complain we are too harsh as well
usually its the idiots saying we are too harsh but never will everyone be happy with the moderating
