Okay I've been listening to some celtic harp music on youtube.
Any recommendations? Tips? Questions? Comments? Quips?

Just harp music or celtic music in general.
Turlough O'Carolan's compositions are pretty much the standard. Can't recommend any performers though, it's not really my area.

celtic harp is great. you might want to read about/check out Alan Stivell
if you want to start with celtic music in general i'd say that groups like altan, the bothy band, the chieftans, the dubliners and dervish make for a decent start. there are tons of musicians in the genre though.
celtic woman sucks =\

Ya I believe you.
The Chieftains are rock solid though. Their harpist, Derek Bell, would be a good person to listen to. Also Planxty. They didn't have a harpist but awesome nonetheless.

I doubt it would be too hard, it's tuned similar to a mandolin. Finding one outside Ireland might be a bit trickier.

when is saw altan live, whoever was playing bouzouki pretty much tuned up after every song. i wonder if it easily goes ou
i would imagine that they're somewhat expensive though. at least for a well made one

Yeah, well you'd probably need to get it custom built.
They're strung pretty high, but I doubt they go out of tune that fast. Most rock bands cycle guitars every song or two anyway, so I doubt it's anything out of the ordinary.
