I just bought a 10 inch tom for my Performer kit, and its noticably newer looking than the rest of my drums. I bought my kit used and it has yellowed a bit, I was wondering if there was something I could do to clean the rest of my kit and make it a little "whiter"?

In the likely event that cleaning it up is impossible, where can I buy some new wrap to replace the old stuff, and how much would it cost?

Is it a see through laquer, or a wrap on the new tom?

The whole kit, including the new tom is a wrap.

At most music stores, they will either carry wrap, or order some for you. Prices vary with the complexity of the wrap. As for cleaning, I dont know, but if the wrap has been stained, probably not possible to clean realy.

Sounds like bleaching. Do you leave your drums in the sun?

The new tom should naturally become a bit more worn looking after a few months. Until then I just say, clean the wraps up a bit but I dont think theres much more else you can really do.

get about 14 cartons of cigarettes and smoke every one of them right in front of the tom. Well.... Get Smoking!!!

Don't worry. The person before you left the drums in the sun, and it bleached the white. Your other tom will soon fade in.

Be glad they're not painted, because you'd have a right bitch of a problem, because of the colour of the wood.

Grrrr, Firefox keeps telling me I spell colour wrong but I don't.
