Need help finding an artist

Hey guys, I need help. I need a guy :p

He's a musician, old bloke, American, was just on at reading/leeds like ten mins ago if anyone from the UK was watching it on TV, saw him at new year on Jools Holland, plays a guitar that looks as old as he is, only one pup and a lighter paint mark where the other should be, only has and uses three strings, G, D, and A, and plays rocky-blues on a cube 30 with a slide

Figured this would be the best place to ask :)
