Someone abused a hole in Sputnikmusic and created thousands of accounts based on random numbers.

This then lead to the lock down of the forums, which you probably noticed if you were on yesterday evening.

Yah, I noticed, I was just wondering why everything got locked down. I think some of the number accounts are still around, I just saw one in General Discussion.

It gets opened, people are tentative to make stupid threads. For a while stupid threads get closed, a few slide under the net, a few stupid threads are fun after all, then all of a sudden it's all stupid threads.

I understand what your saying but the best bit of the UK thread was that we had our own little community going there which he could only do because no-one used the classifieds very much.

Good luck finding a place like that at mx. The best solution is probably just to have Wish and Tojes moderate it tightly like the Harry Potter thread used to be.
