That's right, I'm doing a strat, and I'm working on it right now.

It's just a cheap, plywood strat I got form my friend for three bucks, the only thing I really like it the neck, nice quilted maple headstock

So I was thinking as of what to do with it, so far, Ive stripped it, cut a monkey grip and primered it gray. I'm not sure as of what to finish it, I was thinking some sort of cowprint, yes cowprint. Make it a moo guitar, you know? So, help me, what to finish the guitar?

In the mean time, here's some pics of it in progress.

Decided to put in monkey grip, some of the paint came off whilst cutting

I don't know why the wood looks so bad in the pics, like if I didn't seal it, but it's perfectly smooth in real life. So that's all I have done for now, just need to decide on what to finish it.

It looks like all the primer isnt dry yet, or some areas have a thinner coat so you can see the grain on the body.

Still, looking good. Should be cool when its all done.

It was probably that, I took those right after I sprayed my first coat, I think.

I concur. I guess they look kind of cool, and I like that neck. Are you going to keep it flat grey or put something over it? Any other mods going to happen soon or just leaving electronics and whatnot stock?
