Some friends and I are starting a Rage Against The Machine cover band. But we're not quite sure what all songs we should include in the set list. The singles are obvious (Freedom,People Of The Sun,Bulls On Parade,Testify,Sleep Now In The Fire,Guerilla Radio,Ghost O Tom Joad) But what other songs stick out to the average Rage fan?

Add Know Your Enemy, Killing In the Name, Born of a Broken Man, Bombtrack and Mic Check to the list.
Why dont you write original material and cover a selection of RAtM songs?

RAtM was never one of my favorite bands. They were boring and repetitive.
I liked their debut though.

Know Your Enemy and Killing In The Name. You are not a true rage fan if you didn't include these two songs.
You should really just cover the entire ST album

Thanks for the positive responses.
The reason for starting a cover band is as simple as this. I listen to metal but I'm the only one of my friends that does. There are no musicians around here. I do one man band where I write and record everything on my own but I love the feel of actually being in a band. But no band around here wants to do the stuff that I want to do. Rage is kinda the compromise between me and my not-so metal friends. It's just an excuse to get together and have a good time playing easy songs. We were thinking of maybe throwing some Tool songs into the mix too.
