Look, this whole site had probably already figured I'd make a topic on Atreyu's new album. It's actually once again, yet another solid album. Outside of Honor and Falling Down, the album is pretty great. They've continued to move away from metalcore, and further into just...metal. There's not that much screaming either but its still pretty good.

The only thing that irks me about it is the crowd vocals that are layered behind the lead singer's voice.

I liked The Curse, but it got old fast because of only 5 or so worthwhile songs. Suicide Note was decent, but I never really heard it all, so I can't really say, and the newest album was atrocious and even Atreyu weren't the Atreyu we knew.

i've heard that the new album had some good stuff, but otherwise was pretty bland. not a big fan anyway so.....

i like a few of their songs but most of their stuff "sucks"

i just hate the screaming so i think that's why i can bare the new album because it has far less screaming in it and even if it has screamign it's no the god awful screaming you know i'm talking about (see: The Curse and maybe even deathgrip(can't remember if the apple choking scream was on that album))

No, I mean, there was a few throw-up screams on Death-Grip, but they were mostly tuned down.

It's a 3.5/5.

After 4 listens:

Saller's vocals are less than undesirable in this album and overused.

The song Honor is cheesy and boring.

Becoming the Bull and Doomsday are stand-out tracks.

Like Varkatzas' vocals.

Not as...'emo' as The Curse.
