I had no idea they've been around since 1994! I heard about them from my friend who works at umg and thought I'd give their new song Hollywood a hear. I actually liked it and their new album Afterwards is going to be released on Aug 28th only through Target and iTunes which I think is kind of odd. www.myspace.com/collectivesoul has some info on the band and also some of their songs as well.

I always thought of them as a rocky/grunge band. But they sure as hell had a period in about 2000 or so when they turned extremely pop and boy band esque. Seriously.
