BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Bakersfield band Korn’s new album debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s top 200 music chart this week.
Korn’s eighth studio release is untitled but unofficially dubbed by Korn fans as “8.”
The album has already sold 123,000 copies, while a video on youtube.com for the band's song “Evolution” already has nearly 230,000 views.

dude Korn WAS good... then after their first couple albums, they got progressively worse. now they just suck! i tried to listen to it, and i could not listen to a single song all the way through

Slipknot is the death metal band you're thinking of.
On a serious note, the new album is probably worse than anything they've ever done. And that takes some skill.

Sometimes they strike me when i am in the mood to listen to them, I tend to dismiss them as pretty **** though. Don't like their post-Issues stuff from what i have heard.

yeah, i basicaly walked walked into some music chatroom, and this kid asked me if i liked death metal. i told him "yeah, who's your favorite band?" he told me ****ing korn. i preceded to leave that chatroom, and to never return.

lol, that happens to me a lot. they think metallica, korn, or slipknot are the most heaviest bands out there just cuz they only listen to the radio. the best thing to do is actually have them listen to real death metal and just watch their eyes get wide open with fear

then they listened to them and told me they were too heavy.

seriously... im not even a big fan of dm, but i still know that korn is nowhere close to death, its freakin nu-metal.
