well... _I_ would sign you to _my_ label. too bad my "label" only ups stuff on MegaUpload and pass out links to as many people as possible 'stead of doing any decent distributing or promoting, hah.
bro - we ought'a do a split sometime. you're music inspires me. I wanna make some singer-songwriter crap with acoustic guitars and all that cliché s'hite. like Elliot Smith, Sufjan Stevens, Rocky Votolato, Rufus Wainwright or whatever.
PS
oh yeah, your song rocks. but you're probably accustomed to me liking your stuff by now. I especially enjoy your special style of mixing. it's a major plus. cheers mate.

Geeze... what can I say to THAT. I'm sure you inspire me just as much if not more than my music inspires you. I'd love to play any type of music if anybody is up for it... just in Iowa, there's not many people to do that with, or I'm looking in the wrong places (or not looking at all? an enigma, I tell you, an enigma). Yeah, though, for the stuff I'm writing and recording now, I'm planning on recording as many songs up 'til January then sending them out to places (labels, w/e, I don't even know, just places). All of the great feedback people have been giving me only increases my motivation to make better tracks.
P.S. What's your music Myspace and/or other pages? I'd love to hear/add those...

yeah, it's not like this at all. I'm still exploring territory.
and if what you find on this link, my other band will be way too much for you too stomach, hah.
on that link you'll find in the sputnik thread my music is basically the result of every genré I can think off meeting in a fist fight (in which they all lose). but my band is a tad different. the idea there is that I have lots of genius melodies in my head, so I take a random part from each melody and mash it up with thirty nine other random bits from melodies and thus create one really bad(***) melody. I've learned (in time) that nobody likes it 'cept myself and two or perhaps even three others, haha.

You need better production values and more depth in your instrumentation. I know this sounds crazy but if you listen to the OK computer album by Radiohead and pay attention to the way its produced you can get an idea of what I'm talking about.
Also listen to the Beatles and only pay attention to the production. With all the new software out there you could greatly enhance the way you sound which is what you need to do. This will take you to the next level and get much more attention. Good Luck.
