Oh boy, Juliette Lewis. I don't expect much from it.
I'm listening, and it's not any different from every other "chick band rock and roll look-at-me-i'm-fucking-edgy" music project. It has some interesting riffs here or there but I'm almost sure... no wait. A breakdown. :| Fuck breakdowns.
I was talking of Hot Kiss, apparently the best known track uploaded.
Are you happy, same acoustic folk crap I've listened all my life, except... well. Again. Sorry, I go to Jeff Buckley when I feel like listening to sorrowful music, with a basic drum beat behind. It might work with a pop audience, though. People are very dumb about what they like, considering Fergie's "big girls don't cry", the most abysmal, idiotic music attempt by this "maneater" woman.
Purgatory Blues... meh. I think I'm surprised the vocals are not as bad as I'd have expected, so mild cheers there. And by mild I mean me just waving my hands lightly. But I'm tired and sad, so no.
Just by reading the song name Get Up I imagine it's an upbeat rock song. But the browser died and I had to copy and paste this message like six times before posting it, so I'm pissed at the shit coding in that myspace.
So basically, it might work for a pop crowd.
Juliette Lewis.
RIP Ian Curtis

Juliette & The Licks get a gigantic, crushing thumbs down from me. But as far as "hollywood goes rock", at least it's better than 30 seconds to mars

Juliette should have stuck with being white trash jailbait.

Scarlett Johansson has a good voice tone... in the "hollywood goes rock" kinda vibe, I don't know.

Now we all know that the best Hollywood goes rock crossover is Bruce Willis' rap hit.
