where the hell do you find singers?

If your in a rock band and have no singer, where do you go or what can you do to find one? Sometimes they just turn up by luck, but other than that...

You can check the choir halls, but I've found that if something's really going to work it generally falls into place for you. However, it's not like you can just sit around and expect someone to knock on your door. You've got to get out there and meet people and make connections, eventually it'll happen. Take what you've got now, play some instrumental shows, make a demo, whatever. Go to as many local shows as you can, just be involved in the music scene where you live to increase your chances.

Back when I was forming a band, it was by pure luck that I met someone who was interested in the same music and we became really good friends. I've found that when you don't force things, it works out. Good things come to those who wait.

Someone should learn to sing who cares about the band a lot. If you find someone better, you do, and that's great, but until then you could get one of the current members to give it a go.
