Well, I've been in a band for 2 years and i was doing back vocals while playing piano or bass. But last week, a friend brought recording material at my home and I tried to record some of my own songs. The probleme is, I'm not a lead singer at all. So , listening to www.myspace.com/julienlavoie , do you think I could do something with my voice, having singing classes. I just had one day to record and mix, so musically, there are still some mistake.

http:// is your friend
i'd say that there's hope, in that i've heard much worse as front men for some reason but ya your not to badly out of tune cept where you reaching, your singing far higher than your voice can go to... sounds like your always in your head voice as well, which is fine for backing but ya i'd say take some classes they do wonders with a good teachers and see how it goes.
I mean i really can't sing very well at all :) i'm going to take some classes just so i can do backing vocals with out making a fool of my self...
In the end any one doing lead vocals should have always always taken classes, even if they are rather good.

yeah i dont think your voice is all that bad at all
all the reverb makes it sound dumb, like karaoke at a wedding or something
just sing with more confidence and you will sound perfectly fine. the fact that you've made this thread tells me that you don't yet have confidence in your voice, but there's no reason you shouldn't. cool songs too, i enjoy them. the mixing is a little bit unbalanced at parts but whatever. keep making music
