Hey, I've been delving into indie/alt/ambient/etc. music for about the past 9-10 months or so and am always looking for new bands to check out.

Based on your last.fm, I would reccomend Bear Vs. Shark, The Mars Volta, and Deftones. I don't know if you're already into those bands, but I didn't see them anywhere on the page. Also check out The Pax Cecilia, just b/c they are awsome.

Sorry if that seems a bit random, I basically went through my Windows Media library and tried to pick out a few artists/bands based on your Last FM. Alot of those bands aren't strictly indie/ambient as such but I think you might like alot of them.

Try some of The Junction. They just realsed their furst album called The Junction and it is pritty dam awesome awesome if you or anyone wants the album ( because their album is very hard to come by other then in some music worlds in canada) just send an email to kevinlukecarey@gmail.com saying that you want the album and i;ll gladley send it to you.
